20 Helpful Reading Worksheets

20 Helpful Reading Worksheets is for new readers (4 to 6 yrs old) who are learning short vowel 3-letter words. There are a total of 20 worksheets 4 of each type for each of the short vowel sounds:  ă,  ĕ, ĭ, ŏ, ŭ.

These worksheets include:

1. Draw a line to match the picture to the word.
2. Cut out the word and glue it next to the correct picture.
3. Circle the sentence that goes with the picture.
4. Cut out the story blocks and glue them into the correct order so that the story makes sense.

These worksheets are made for each short vowel sound.

The purpose of these worksheets is for extra practice with short letter words, and to be an addition to already purchased reading curriculum.
